For 2011 I, Thomas
Huddleston, will be taking a different approach to our
Outlaw Program. In years past I have joined teams to Crew
Chief their specific cars with our Huddleston Performance
drivelines on them. In 2011 I will no longer be doing this.
This season and beyond I will be fielding my own In-House
Heads-Up 330 car. The main reason for the change is that
overall I feel it benefits both the driver and myself as a
tuner to be hands-on with the car for the entire season.
Being able to massage the car for an entire season allows me
the opportunity to develop new parts and maintenance the car
how I see fit, which results in better outings at every
event for the driver.
I have personally had
more than my fair share of success within the Outlaw Arena.
I started out driving an Outlaw Junior when I was 12 years
old. I went on to win a number championships/races and reset
many records behind the wheel of an Outlaw car. Once my
Junior career had ended I decided to take my talents into
the Tuning side of the Heads-Up world. I've spent the past 5
seasons tuning a number of cars on both the East and West
Coast. On the West Coast I was able to tune both Katie Neal
and Raquel Roper to over a dozen combined final rounds, with
Raquel resetting the WWC record and bringing home the 2009
Wicked West Coast 330 Championship. On the East Coast I have
tuned a number of cars to final rounds, low e.t.'s, and top
qualifying positions.
As for the car, it is a
Huddleston Performance designed chassis manufactured by MBCC.
It has the latest Huddleston Performance Engine with a brand
new Black Widow Clutch combination on it. The car has
already shown outstanding potential with many passes in the
LOW 4.20 range. In its debut event it qualified in the Top 6
at this past SEJRA Left-Over Nationals Thanksgiving weekend.
The car is capable of winning any event it enters, and is
very capable of resetting records anywhere in the country.
(Yes it is the car picture with the Wicked Flames.)
I am looking to build a
strong team that is goal oriented. The reason this car
exists is to put forth a first class effort at winning races
and championships. For this reason I am willing to offer the
first event for new drivers at a significantly discounted
price to see how everyone works together. At the conclusion
of that event we will sit down and analyze how the weekend
went and discuss moving forward with future plans to contest
the car. If you are interested in jumping into a serious
Head-Up 330 car today please contact me at 931-437-2457.
Thanks,
Thomas Huddleston
